Passport pick up

The Australian Embassy can witness signatures and endorse photo for drivers` licence on renewal forms from NSW and Queensland.

The Australian Embassy does NOT renew the licences.

Please contact the relevant road authority of your State of Territory in Australia to obtain the necessary forms for renewing your licence and determine how you will forward the documentation to Australia while residing overseas.

The service cost is actually the consular service fee.

Driving Licence Renewal for NSW and QLD

Getting an emergency passport can take up to 48 hours.

Please provide your full name, date of birth, lost/stolen passport number (if applicable), address, telephone number and email address in the comments section.

Please refer to our website (http://italy.embassy.gov.au/rome/consular.html) to download the PC8 application form and bring: two passport photos, the application form, any other ID documents you may hold and your credit card as payment by cash or cheque is no longer possible. 

This travel document will contain only 8 visa pages and the validity will be limited to a period of seven months.

If travel is via or to a country other than Australia, please contact the respective embassy of that country for entry and visa requirements. The Australian Embassy cannot provide visa information.

Emergency passport - Please read information carefully and provide the requested information

In order to have your signature witnessed you must attend in person and provide suitable photographic identification such as passport or driver`s licence.

It is responsibility  of the client to present the document to be served in the correct form, and to provide the correct instructions for witnessing.
